This is just a quick piece to give you a wee update on the site and what we’ve been up to. I should really do these more often to be honest. First up. in case some of you didn’t know, Niden is the new Editor in Chief! He’s been doing the job for a few weeks now and bloody good he is at it too. On top of this, we have some new writers. HVAC is still around but stepped back from his weekly column and Hibbie from GSF / Space Violence has taken over the ‘dumb weekly Goon’ slot – we’re delighted to have him of course. We have some more writers to announce in the very near future and you’ll hear about those in due course. Unfortunately, like HVAC, Joran needs to step back from a weekly wormhole column but will be sticking around to dispense his knowledge on a less regular basis. As such, we have an opening for a wormhole writer. If you or someone you know fancies making a little extra ISK while writing up the weekly goings-on in all things w-space, drop us an email to staff (at) crossingzebras.com – we’d love to hear from you. And a reminder that if you have an idea for any kind of article and you think we may be interested, let us know. We are always keen to post interesting, unbiased writing from all quarters of New Eden. A key tenet of the site is great coverage no matter where you fly and who you fly with – help us to maintain that ethos. One last thing before I finish this brief update. You may have noticed new banners in the right hand column there for Amazon PLEX sales and Eve trials. Unlike what Jeg and I may have inferred on episodes of CZ, we don’t actually make much from Eve Bet. While those guys are incredibly generous and we love them dearly, almost all the ISK they give us goes straight to our writing staff and deservedly so too. On top of this, a few people (myself included) have been whining about the slow speed of the site of late. Well in the past 24 hours, Jeg has switched the site onto a substantially faster server. You should all be seeing a huge difference in the site performance as of now. If you are looking to buy PLEX, consider using the Amazon referral links we have posted on the right hand side of the site.
