Jin’talks – Why Dreadbombs Don’t Work (against Superfleets)

So, let’s take a little break from the war itself and look at something vastly more exciting to EVE players – That’s right, numbers, delicious delicious numbers – to break down just why the various dreadbombs we’ve seen used simply aren’t as effective as we might have thought they would be, and in doing so look at the overall power Superfleets have in the current meta, and giving us a grounding when understanding what role they might play in this war.

Both Solar Fleet and XIX have both sizeable supercap fleets to rival PanFams and the FC’s to use it. I came up against them during the Stainwagon / DRF war last year and I knew they know how to use them after that. I don’t think people realise what DRF are capable of yet. Solar fleet wiping the floor with Triumvirate may be some indication in the South though with at least a third of all triumvirate systems already switched to Solar fleet.
