CSM8: November Interview

It’s that special time of the month once again where I sit down with a couple of members of CSM8 to discuss what they have been up to. This time round I am very pleased to have two rather lovely chaps to talk to. First up is the Goonswarm director, Eve economist extrodiaire (Triple E?) and individual voted first in the CSM8 election, Mynnna. Joining him is wormhole pilot with the infamous Sleeper Social Club, James Arget.

There’s plenty to get through this month including the recent release of Rubicon including what we are excited about and what we are not so excited about, our monthly discussion of where the Summer Summit minutes are, where Rubicon may take us in terms of POS development and exploration as a career path. An entirely action-packed interview which I know you are all going to enjoy!

About the author

Xander Phoena

The good looking, funny, intelligent member of the team, Xander set up Crossing Zebras with Jeg in April 2012 mainly because he was talking too much about Eve on his other podcast. Playing the game for almost five years, Xander still has absolutely zero clue about how to actually play Eve but somehow still manages to talk a good game.

If someone wants to provoke a fight at a POS, they already have a way to do so, attack the POS. That will generate a notification and a timer for the fight. The siphon specifically does not work like that; it’s supposed to be a way to quietly sponge off assets, unless the POS is actively managed. A clever observant “attacker” can time his siphon to be up between POS re-fuellings, if people only show up to their POS when it absolutely needs attention, and completely ignore it otherwise. It’s a way to contest passive income, not to generate fights, necessarily.
