About the author

Xander Phoena

The good looking, funny, intelligent member of the team, Xander set up Crossing Zebras with Jeg in April 2012 mainly because he was talking too much about Eve on his other podcast. Playing the game for almost five years, Xander still has absolutely zero clue about how to actually play Eve but somehow still manages to talk a good game.

Finally! I’ve been jonesing for a podcast for ages!

    • Smokey

And not just any podcast. The best podcast in eve online history…CCP certified…

  • Smokey

I don’t know if it was ever discussed, but a short 1-2 minute skype interview after some matches with the captain or a team member might provide some good insight into the matches…or even a fun short story. That thing worked well on starcraft or other tournaments.

Also +1 for no Aegis sov. As an addicted podcast snorter, it really is a breath of fresh air. And the positivity is amazing, really been missing that in the past months.

    • Kamar Raimo

Get Apothne on any show and it will increase positivity by at least 150%. This guy manages to not become bitter while being in PL! He has Teflon coated positive attitude 🙂

  • Saint Michael’s Soul

Great pod chaps. Also <3 for the PFR. AT team mention – We'll see how we do against the rather serious Nulli team on Saturday.

  • Kamar Raimo

Niden nailed it. The AT is unsuitable as a wider-audience e-sport because there is so much obfuscated behind the visible fighting. Apothne expanded correctly, only experienced EVE players even understand what might be going on.

A real e-sport needs to be intuitively understandable, and the AT isn’t. It is only for EVE players and not even for all of them.

I am still missing the commentary on the matches because it added colour and pointed out things I missed.

OK, around 1:04 SOMEONE was talking about a Youtube video that someone had posted about their fight during the Alliance Tournament this year. He said the video was link from his blog. Who’s blog is this, where is it, and what is the link to this video?
